Elementals; In this world, some wolves have the power to control their surroundings. They have their own elements, of which they can command at will. Below is an explanation of each element and their powers. Wolves almost always have fur colors that correspond to their element. The personality traits listed are not required, but they are the most common for that element.
Sub-species; After centuries of the elementals only taking on six forms, a few sub-species have branched off from the original element of their lineage. Their powers are diluted to the point of being almost unusable; but, if trained properly, they can become much more powerful than the true elementals. Tread with caution around them, because you never know just how strong they can be.
_____________________________________________________________
Light; They can control the illumination around them and are usually quite good judges of character. Light elementals are almost always pure of heart, never evil.
Dark; Same as the Light elementals, except that they are always evil or dark-hearted in some way. There is no way of telling whether one is a Dark or Light elemental except by their personality.
Earth; Their powers allow them to control anything that deals with the earth; plants, rocks, ect. Does not apply to any form of water. They can be arrogant and prideful, but they are also known for their loyalty. See Leaf.
Fire; Unlike most elementals, Fire elementals can create fire at their own will and control it as they see fit [other elementals must use what's around them at the moment]. Using their powers usually takes a lot out of them because they have to create the fire, and they are especially weak in snow or during cold days. Exceptionally strong ones may control the temperature around them. Most of the time, these wolves are easily angered.
Air; These elementals are usually the swiftest because of their ability to draw wind behind them and rush forward. Many of these wolves have wings, but not always. They can control air and wind currents; although it may seem like a weak power, do not underestimate their abilities. These elementals are usually playful and good-natured.
Water; Water elementals can control water, from the rushing water of rivers, to the water in the air [humidity]. They cannot create water, but there are plenty of places of which to find some - as long as you know where to look. They are calm and sweet for the most part, but they are also extremely stubborn.
Silvers; These wolves are not truly elementals, but they cannot be placed among the normal wolves of this realm. Silvers are not alive either, although neither can they be called dead. The reason they are called Silver is because they are always pure silver in color - think of a creature of black and white in a world of colors. Each one has different powers. The one power they all have in common is seeing into the past, present, and future, which gains them the nickname Oracles; besides that, they're all different. For example, maybe one can pass through things like a ghost, and another can become invisible. Get the idea? Think of them as psychic elementals. They're all extremely powerful, but their magic isn't very stable and easily gets out of control. Their one big weakness: Light and Dark elementals. They can use their powers of illumination to trap Silvers by creating a chain around them that controls them. Silvers can't die, either - they must be killed. Food and water are not neccessary for their survival, but most choose to eat and drink anyway. Silvers are very rare, even though they can live for centuries; only a handful survive in this world, and they are almost never seen. To even talk to one was once unheard of, but that seems to be changing...
Note; I am only allowing three or four on the entire site. I must know that you are very active, because they will play a big part in the plot.
If you have any questions, please PM me. I know it's confusing. ^^'

Leaf;
A sub-species of the Earthen, Leaf elementals have similar powers to them. They control any form of living plant, but unlike the Earth elementals, they can make things grow, as well as having the power to move them. Leaf elementals tend to be harsh toward those they don't know.Fire; Unlike most elementals, Fire elementals can create fire at their own will and control it as they see fit [other elementals must use what's around them at the moment]. Electricity;
A sub-species of fire, these wolves can control electricity and also create it. They also have the ability to make lightning, though normally only during a storm; otherwise, it drains their energy. Usually they are kind, but can come up with quick, witty comebacks. They are kind and defend their friends and other wolves in need. However, they startle easily.Air; These elementals are usually the swiftest because of their ability to draw wind behind them and rush forward. Many of these wolves have wings, but not always. Ice;
Wolves who belong to this sub-species are quite comfortable during the winter and can resist the coldest of temperatures; heat makes them extremely uncomfortable, though. They not only have the power of controlling water, but they can change its form [changing water to ice, ect.]. They can usually be described as easy-going, but beware their sometimes cold hearts.Silvers; These wolves are not truly elementals, but they cannot be placed among the normal wolves of this realm.
