Appearance:A beautifully composed femme, Aydan is quite a sight to behold. Her pelt is long and silky, always flowing with the wind. Her fur is mostly a flawless white, fading into black on her back. Small specks of light fur show on her pelt, creating an interesting pattern and shade and making it appear as if she has frost on her fur. She has long limbs, which partly attributes to making her a graceful runner. She can leap far distances because of this as well, and overall she's quite athletic. The she-wolf has long, elegant facial features. The top of her cranium is the same ebony that coats her back, fading into a light gray until it turns white. Her ears seem to be outlined in black and the inside is a dark gray. Her snout is white except for the line of gray that runs down her face, that eventually turns black when it reaches her nose. Her tail is long and fluffy, also a dark color on top as is found on her back and face. In short, Aydan is an elegant-looking and graceful femme.
Pack:Alphess of Samara pack
Personality: For the most part, Aydan is a calm and patient wolf with a caring nature; although, she's also very wary inside. Strangers appear to be welcomed, but caution is always hinted in her features. She loves pups and is hoping to become a mother someday, but first love must somehow find its way into her heart. Loyalty is a strong attribute in her, and she is always ready to give up her life for her pack. She can become the fiercest fae ever seen if it means protecting those she loves. Most would describe her as wise, which is an important aspect for being a leader. Aydan can come up with quick and successful solutions to anything, which also means that battle tactics come easy to her. Her overall intelligence helps her with all the responsibilities that come with being a leader. Quite outgoing, Aydan is not afraid to voice her opinion and she's certainly ready to speak out against something she doesn't think is right. Her usual gentle personality earns her the trust of most of her pack and from several others who aren't a part of it. Her most noticeable flaw is that she has trouble forgiving others. Once you break her trust in you, it's difficult to earn it back again. You must prove yourself countless times before she will even set eyes on you without contempt. Even after you do that she will always remember what you did, and although though she won't show it, she will possibly never trust you again.
History: Aydan was born into an esteemed pack, known throughout the area as the most prosperous. Her father, Remus, had been the Beta Male and once he had found her mother, Nessa, she had become the Beta Female. They loved each other with great passion and they served their pack better than anyone. Everyone loved them; all but one. The Omega of the pack, Elessar, withheld hatred for all those in power, and as with all omegas, wished to become alpha one day. The current alpha's health had recently been failing; he was an old wolf and it was understandable. He had no mate or pups though, so the next in line were the Betas. The omega wasn't stupid; he realized this, and so, came up with a plot that would finally get him to where he wanted. He waited until the alpha died to bring it into action.
The dark night was filled with mournful howls of despair as the pack looked upon their deceased leader. Paying their respects to him, the were all too preoccupied to notice the shadow lurking in the corner. As he neared silently, Elessar watched with hopeful orbs. He was heading for the Beta pair, both of them unaware of the danger that approached. When the pack went to their dens to mourn, Remus staying behind for a little while longer, the omega followed Nessa to her den that she shared with her mate. The femme padded slowly to a corner to lie down, still grieving for their loss. Elessar hid by a boulder beside the entrance to the pair's den and waited impatiently for Remus to return. When he did, the power-hungry omega lunged and landed on him with a blood-curdling snarl. Remus fought bravely, but caught by surprise, he was killed nonetheless. When Nessa heard their battle, she looked to see her mate lying dead on the ground, his killer standing over him with blood dripping from his maw. The rest of the pack had heard this and came to fight off the traitor while Nessa fled to safety. But he escaped, and, filled with bloodlust, he tried to follow the fleeing she-wolf. Eventually she reached the safety of the mountains, but she knew that she would never again be able to call the forest home; and so, the previous Beta went to live as alone as a rogue.
Nessa had been pregnant at this time, and her belly had steadily grown larger with the passing moons. She found a pack that lived in the mountains and joined it, giving birth not too long afterward. It was the right choice, and Aydan was brought into the world along with 3 siblings. They grew into fine young wolves, their loyalty unmatched by any but the Alpha. Aydan was exceptionally known by those in the pack, and gradually climbed the ranks until she herself became Beta Female. When the Alpha died, she was the next in line. Being firstborn, no one challenged that decision, and she's been serving her pack with loving care ever since. She has many dreams for the pack, but she wishes nothing more than to help it thrive.
